SENIOR ELECTRICIAN BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB: Responsible for the tactical leadership of the Electrical Repairs and Maintenance within the Technical Department by ensuring that all Electrical installations, alterations, repairs and maintenance are done in accordance with SANS 10142 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. To facilitate mini-projects which include drawing up scopes of work and to guide the work and workmanship of Electrical employees and sub-contractors so as to ensure that work carried out is of acceptable standards. 1. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS: Matric /Grade 12 N4 (Electrical Heavy Curent) Trade Tested 3 Phase Installation Electrician – Wireman Computer Literate with experience working on CMMS and Time Management Systems EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Minimum of 5 years working as an electrician in a maintenance field in a Factory or within the Hospitality Industry and at least 3 years as a senior electrician/supervisor. 2.
