​2X ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATORS LOCATION : GAUTENG 

(FIXED TERM CONTRACT: 6 MONTHS) 
Opportunities for exist at the CHIETA head office for two Assistant Administrators on a fixed- term contract of six months. The incumbents in these positions will provide administrative support to the Grants, Projects and Regions Business Units. Candidates who meet the requirements of the position are invited apply. 
MONTHLY CTC: R 24 555,58 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Office Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. 
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience within project management/Accounting/Audit support roles. 
  • 1 year in Public Service environment/ SETA environment will be an added advantage. 
  • Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage. 
  • Applicants must reside in Gauteng Province.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 
  • Maintain records management systems for the discretionary and mandatory grants in line with business controls 
  • Ensure Grants related documentation is maintained within the Grants/Strategic Projects Unit 
  • Assist in consolidating, checking and evaluating evidence received from regions for correctness and validity against DHET guidelines 
  • Ensure payments are processed accurately 
  • Preparation of tracking reports and statistical reports 
  • Administrative duties for the Executive Manager 
  • Regional Support duties 
  • Prepare evidence required for internal and external audits as per the allocated sample 
  • Prepare evidence required for the DHET SETA Quarterly Monitoring Reporting Validating as per the allocated sample 
  • Filling of evidence and keeping the records of the discretionary and mandatory grants in a safe and proper manner 
  • Improve documentation traceability
