OMBUD FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES PROVIDERS (FAIS OMBUD) ICT GRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAMME X2 Pretoria, South Africa The Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud) was established in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (the FAIS Act). Its objective is to consider and dispose of complaints in a procedurally fair, informal, economical, and expeditious manner and by reference to what is equitable in all circumstances. The FAIS Ombud offices are in the east of Pretoria in Gauteng. In order to discharge its mandate, the FAIS Ombud seeks to appoint Graduate Trainees as part of the Graduate Training Programme. This is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a pipeline of competent trainee entrants to the labour market. Duration – The duration of the programme is twelve (12) months. Roll out of the Programme: Recommended candidates will be given an opportunity to learn under a dedicated mentor.
