WARD COMMITTEE OFFICER: OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER_FIXED TERM CONTRACT MN3772/24 APPLY NOW » Location: Meyerton, ZA Company: Midvaal Local Municipality REQUIREMENTS: - Garde 12. - National Diploma (Public Administration) will be an added advantage. - Computer Literate (MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint). - Valid driver’s licence. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, adaptability, assertiveness, leadership, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office management, strong administrative skills and writing and typing skills. - Attention to detail. - Project management skills. - Strong understanding of political / organisational policy, procedures, surrounds, and services related to ward committee operations and functions. - At least 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience pertaining to ward committee or other community related services/programs. DUTIES: -Responsible for operations related to administration within the Ward Committee operations: - Distribution of Ward Committee Resolutions to relevant stakeholders. - Arrange, compile, and distribute Ward Committee meetings (Agenda and Minutes). - Attending Ward Committee meetings. - Liaising with relevant stakeholders to promote good working relations between ward committees and council. - Proper workflow planning in terms of creating a favourable image of the council. - Conflict, dispute, and grievance resolution from time to time. - Developing and implementing operational/business plans developed in conjunction with ward committees to improve customer service. - Perform any other related ad hoc duties or functions as required by the Speaker, Supervisor or Top Management.
