APPOINTMENT TO SERVE FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS AS A MEMBER OF THE KING HINTSA TVET COLLEGE COUNCIL IN TERMS OF SECTION 10(6) OF THE CET COLLEGES ACT NO 16 OF 2006 (as amended) King Hintsa Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College is a Public College, operating in terms of the Continuing Education and Training (CET) Act 16 of 2006 (as amended), under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College consists of a Central office & five (05) delivery sites in the Mnquma & Mbashe local Municipalities. The College hereby invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals with a good understanding of the CET Act, have a thorough knowledge & functioning of TVET Colleges, the importance of partnerships between TVETs and Industry. Ensuring that the functions of Council are performed according to the highest professional standards. The successful candidates will serve as the four (04) additional external members of the College Council as required in terms of section 10(6) of the CET Act. Requirements: The applicant must possess a broad spectrum of Higher Education qualification/s and competencies in the following field 1. Information & Communication Technology 2. Marketing 3. Technical (Engineering, Built, Natural Science environment) 4. Social Sciences Preference will be given to female candidates in support of gender diversity and equity.
