Assistant Maintenance Manager (Ref: 51/2016)

The main purpose: To ensure that all technical infrastructure of the CTICC is maintained and renewed as required.
Reporting to the: Maintenance Manager
Key responsibilities:
To manage the maintenance and infrastructure of the CTICC building and grounds
Identification of equipment, services and infrastructure to be maintained
Drafting of service and maintenance plans for equipment and services
Preparing and maintaining a preventative maintenance plan
Management of maintenance team consisting of both permanent and contracted staff
Management of maintenance contractors such as: cleaning, lifts, air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, etc.
Manage the execution of projects for the replacement and upgrade of the building infrastructure, using recognized project management principles
Assisting the maintenance manager with the day to day running of the maintenance department
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Matric certificate; Trade tested artisan: electrical/mechanical (essential)
National Diploma N6 / T3 / S4 electrical/mechanical would be advantageous
Project or facilities management degree/diploma would be advantageous
Computer literate; Knowledge of ISO: 9001; 14001, 18001; HACCP
5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment, of which 2 years management/supervisory experience

The main purpose: The graduate’s main responsibilities will include assisting with the coordination of all the marketing activities and also improving the performance of the company’s brands and products. Working closely with the Marketing Services Manager for implementation of various marketing plans and activities aimed at improving the business of the company. In addition will also assist with research and generating reports for the Marketing Manager.
Reporting to the: Marketing Manager
Duration: 1 year
Start Date: 1 December 2016
Qualifications and Skills Required:
The successful candidate must be in possession of a matric certificate and be a recent Marketing NQF Level 6 or higher graduate.
Excellent command of the English language and demonstrate a high level of communication, written and listening skills at all levels.
Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word; Outlook; Excel)

The Main purpose
To increase the level of relevant skills and knowledge within the Centre through the provision of training and development initiatives.
Reporting to the: HR Manager
Main Purpose:
Responsibilities will encompass the following but not limited to:
To develop the training and development plan Develop work skills plan (annually)
Compile annual training report
Administer individual training requests when received Annual Skills Audit/Needs Analysis
Administer the Staff Development Bursary Process
Populate training development on the CTICC registered database
Employee Induction
Pre induction - Induction box to be delivered two days before start date Day one induction - Ensure all relevant paperwork completed
Post induction - Post induction coffee and feedback
Management of Students, Graduates, Job shadowing and Learner ships
Recruitment
Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed
Refer all employee relations matters to the HR Manager Portfolio supervision

Partake and play a role in the External Training Committee/Skills Forum (Western Cape)

Ensure that we meet our Training Requirements as per the WSP
Assist and advise on performance reviews in terms of training, and facilitation of Organisational development and knowledge / skills transfer (capacity building) Manage unplanned Training requests
Manage, Source and Coordinate all Training and Training Providers.
Employee Wellness and Engagement
Assist in the administration of the employee surveys
Sourcing of change management experts
Assist with preparation for Physical, Emotional and Financial Wellness Day
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required:
The successful candidate must be in a possession of a matric diploma coupled with a relevant 3 year HR Diploma / Degree with extensive skills development / training experience.
A 2 years practical experience (minimum) within HR environment. SDF Accreditation – must be registered SDF
